[7290] Problems with brightness, time and font
 

I bought a 7290 for my mother. The most actual firmware I found was the 4.1.0.351.
I installed it.
And I resetted the device to delete all data of the previous owner.

1 Brightness

In the handbook for the 7290 it is said, that you could dimm the brightness.

But there is no such field in the options.

Does someone among you, who owns a 7290, has such an option in his device?


2 Automatical set of time

My own 7230 has an option to "get the actual time out of the net automatically". The 7290 doesn't offer that option.

Do you know if there's any way to get the time automatically with the 7290?

3 Fonts

When I choose the font "BBMillbank, 10, bold, no antialiasing" in my 7230 as well as in the 7290, the font looks significant different in both devices.

Both devices have the same screen resolution.

The font in the 7230 looks a lot nicer and it's readability is better.

Do you know the cause of these differences and how to solve the problem?
