Facebook not working correctly
 

For some reason I keep getting duplicate notices on my new BlackBerry Torch. One is the Facebook "notification" for friend adds, pokes, messages, etc and then I get a regular email from Facebook that's NOT a Facebook notification. Anyone experiencing this issue?

Yes I am. Before I would get the FB notification in my messages inbox but not the actual email. FB used to intercept the incoming email and turn it into a FB notification. Now I get a regular email with the URL to the FB page along with the comments text.

Same issue here.. but I think there was an option somewhere to not send emails for these. I think it was working correctly until I started messing around with notification options because I was having a news feed issue (different thread) for a few hours.

I have an ATT branded 9800 that I am using on the T-Mobile network in th US and I can't even log into Facebook via the Application. I can log in via the browser just fine. Anyone else having this issue?

yes..... cannot reach server at this time. please try again later (100). Is there a fix for this? Very annoyed but there is a mobile shortcut but it doesn't intergrate with social feeds app. Anyone with any luck, give a heads up...thanks

Have you turned off Facebook email notifications in the options?

Yes, I changed it to send to an address other than my BB and it worked! Weird thing is that it worked fine with the old Bold 9700 but not the Torch.

by the way there is an update for facebook now..if you have not done so already to v1.8.0.49

i still believe there isn't a fix for the facebook app for unlocked torches :-(

I'm not getting any FB notifications, and all my settings are pointing to notify me. For some reason I have to constantly check FB to see any changes to posts and whatnot.
