Trouble activating device with specific error message
 
So I began working for a larger firm and we are having trouble activating one single device. the device has been activated before and has been wiped numerous times. When trying to activate i recieve the error "An error has occured. The emaila ddress or password may be incorrect. Please contact yor system administrator." We tried activating the account on a different device and have successfully activated an other account on the primary device, so we knot it isnt an issue with handheld device hardware. Supposedly, the user has removed all outlook rules as well. We have also removed the user from thre BES and deleted all prior user information. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is the user receiving the network@etp message sent by RIM and is it coming into their Outlook Inbox - and they are NOT opening it? I've had users sit in front of their Outlook and open those messages and it screws up the activation. I usually tell them to shut down Outlook and step away.....far far away.

Also, have the user search his Inbox, Deleted Items, SPAM, and Junk-Email folder for network@etp error messages and permanently delete them.

also, deactivate email forwarding to an account which also is on BES.
