9900 task switcher/won't go back
 

I'm having a problem with the BACK key not working. Instead going back it brings up the task switcher. It makes it impossible to exit a problem or close an email or SMS. If I reboot, the problem goes away but still comes back.

No the ALT key is not stuck.

BTW, this is my second device. Same problem with both units.

Anybody else with ths problem?

I get this same problem. I can close emails with Menu/Close, but it really bugs me.

I had this happen a couple of times, but it stopped after a battery pull and has not happened again.

I have the same problem, also got a new 9930 and same problem. Battery pull fixes it for a while or it goes away on it's own. (and comes back again.)

My wife got the 9930 at the same time and has not had the problem.
What non-rim programs do you have on your device? I only have foursquare

This is the most annoying, and probably cumbersome issue ever. Thanks ZombieBerry for clearing that up, dude.

Hey everybody, found a fix

Press the ALT button two or three times and we are back to normal.

I haven't had to pull the battery since I found this trick.
