Backup Assistant Launches Unexpectedly

Not sure if anyone else has seen this but every so often the Backup Assistant launches unexpectedly. It can be when opening the browser or just rebooting the phone. Doesn't happen all the time but enough to be annoying. Curious to see if others have experienced the same or not.

Is that a Verizon specific tool. I've never seen it run (or launch) ever.

Yes it is as a matter of fact. It's a real PITA!

When do you have it scheduled to backup your contacts? It will launch at a certain time of the day to backup and then closes itself. I just uninstalled it and use Google to keep track of my contacts. Or you can log into it and set it to do it in the middle of the night.

I just uninstalled it today too. This thing was driving me crazy! I have User Data set to Deny so not only would it launch, it would keep asking me to allow access to the user data. I guess it will come back when I do an OS upgrade down the line but it will be the first thing I delete.

Thanks!
