Friend of mine works at RIM and he gets an $80 rebate when he buys PlayBooks.

He was asking on Thursday if anyone wanted $120 PB's... would have taken one if I didn't have one from work already!

RIM is also directly selling PB's at discount but not as much.

The discount prices were offered by Best Buy, Future Shop, The Source and Staples to name a few in Canada. Checked at stores and on-line for the 16g at $199 and cannot find any available on line or in store. They appear to be totally out of stock. Someone at The Source told me they are not in their warehouse either.
I wonder how many they sold in the past four days?

I just picked up a 16G tonight on my way home from Best Buy in Rockford, Illinois for $199. They're in stock here... didn't ask how many tho..

The RIM store has them for a different price but all the same. wondering if they intend to replace the current model with a new one. Hope not in the same direction HP went.

Any idea where in Napa can I get the 64gb at 299USD? Blackberry online shop is not an option right now as the person who is getting/buying it for me will be leaving USA already to meet me in Asia.

One more thing, does BB PB have international warranty?

Here in Quebec city Canada, Staples and Future Shop = All (16,32,64G) is at 299$.
