hye..i'm using 9860T..i got a problem with my BB..
1. why i cannot online, open my facebook acc. even i already connected to wi-fi?..everytime i try to log in, there is something come out and sound like this "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application, please connect to a wi-fi network or contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan".
please tell me what should i do to be able access the internet and log in to my fb acc. by using wi-fi..thank you.. :smile:

You need to have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account.
Please contact your carrier for details and costs.

is that mean my 9860T cannot use wi-fi if i don't have a BB data plan?

sory..but there's something make me confused..if i use BB data plan, then i have to pay for it evry month right..but now if we use wi-fi, it is free is'it..so, here why need that BB data plan that need to pay evrymonth while there have a wi-fi to use and it is free??..can understand what i mean?..sory if it make you confused..but explain more about it..thank Q..

Please try not to use text speak in your posts.

Carriers require you to have the BB data plan for data via the carrier and via WiFi. The things you are trying to access, i.e. Facebook, require a connection to RIM (BB). The only way to get it is to have a BB data plan.

If you want to complain, call your carrier, "car", and talk to them.
