very inexperienced user needs help with saving text messages to computer
 

Hello
I'm a real novice at phones and only really use them to make calls and send text messages. I have a text message thread that I would like to save to my PC - could someone please let me know how to do this. I have a Blackberry Curve 8520.

You can save your SMS messages to your SIM (If your carrier allows it)

You can copy/paste your SMS to yourself in an email, and then save it.

You could make a backup of your device (with the desktop software) and then extract the SMS from the backup file.
