turning off autorespond to a message
 

Ok so some wonderful person leaked my email address and now I sell my own xxxxxx (2 for a buck???). I would like to know if there is a way to stop sending the response (message opened/message receipt) from the blackberry?
In otherwords, when a message is sent to you with a requested read receipt, the blackberry sends it automagicly and never asks approval. How do I stop this??

I just sent a read receipt request to my BlackBerry and when i read it it did not forward a resoponse. It does take sometimes 20 minutes to reconcile so i decided to run another test. I selected Reconcile Now and it initiated a delete. This read receipt I determined is totally controlled by your email environment. Set the settings in your outlook or other email app because this is unlrelated to a BlackBerry. A BlackBerry utilizes your email system to send and receive messages. Hope this helps!!
