8800 now added as a supported device on Telenav
Just thought I would let you all know...
Telenav now lists the Blackberry 8800 under supported Cingular devices when you go to sign up on their website. |
Additionally, did anyone else notice the new icon in the applications menu today? (Or was it just me not seeing it before) -- it's a shortcut to Telenav (preceded first by a long disclaimer that "you're on your own" from RIM).

Yes, it showed up today for me as well, but it's not working.
|
i love telenav
|
I finally have it working, but now I guess I need to register to pay?

It showed up on my BB 8800 today also, but I am unable to determine what my 4-digit pin (password) should be. Have searched Telenav and Cingular web sites to no avail. I even called Cingular and they were unable to help either. My phone number is correct in the Login Screen, but am unable to go any further than trying to put my "password" in. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I can't get it to work, either. Cingular tells me it takes 24 hours from when I get the account provisioned for it (called Cingular saying I wanted to add Telenav to my account). They also say the PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. I will try tomorrow. Anyone for whom it has worked, please let us know...

Can I still use telenav if I'm using an unlock 8800 on T-mobile network?

After an hour on Cingular support chat, the initial PIN that worked for me was the last four digits of my cell phone number.
