MENU Key

Did a search in this forum and the Curve forum and didn't turn up anything.

Why is it that the BB menu icon stays on the home screen when you can easily access it with the unchangeable MENU key? This seems to be a waste of space. You should at least be able to remove it from the home screen (the one with the five icons on the left of the screen.

Is there a fix?

not as far as i know, thats the way the theme is designed.

The Leopard theme I used has removed the 'application' icon from the home screen. I like it this way.

Some themes have the on screen menu icon, some don't. As I switch themes regularly, I have just gotten conditioned to using the menu key on the keyboard. Doesn't really bother me to see it on screen.
