Default Lyin' CRS/Tech Support - 04-08-2008, 02:39 PM

Well, just caught a lyinass Tech support CSR in a big lie. I'm on the phone with Alltel about the lack of MMS and the fact that my wife's .99 razor can send and receive pictures and she tells me that RIM has to give them an update to the phone OS so that it will work. Humph!! So I told her I was using the Software from another carrier and the version was already higher than the Alltel version.

Backpedal, backpedal furiously. So now she tells me they have to get an update to their network software from RIM. So I asked why, since all the other carriers seem to be working fine with the current software.

Now I've got her in a corner. So now she tells me that the Blackberry was never intended to be able to send pictures and video back and forth. Well, that's contrary to RIM's press releases and advertising. So finally she says she doesn't know why Alltel doesn't support it and can she help me ewith an other problems.

Sheesh, if you don't know, don't blow smoke up my ass and lie about it. I don't blow off easily. So, I guess tomorrow, I'll see if I can get another CSR and get moved up the chain and find out whether they intend to support it or not. Verizon now supports it, according to my daughter. She's on VZ.
