All I can say is thank God for Prozac! Not sure to rave: cuz I am still alive n kickin or to rant: because it only took a month and I am Still not healed. Plus the EMS and Hospital bills have now arrived ugh so let's see only liability on work van had to buy hubby a new (used) truck cost me 2,000 then had to replace some of his tools. Then had to replace a lot of my D/J equiptment so I could work to pay the bills yet my body seems to not let me do my job to the fullist. So now my bills are like way thru the roof... Kinda freakin out here not one of those people that don't pay their bills but with no medical insurance guess they aint gonna get paid. You would think they would give you some heal time before they depress you all over again!!! Greedy hosp people just add fuel to depression. Thanks BBFers did not have anyone else to talk to so thought I would type about it. Thankx for listenin. Have a great day. And if it ever happens to u trust me hit the dang deer! I will!!!!!!!!

I'm one of those people who thinks you're alive and kickin for a reason. Keep your chin up kiddo. Someday that reason will become clear. And, there is a reason you are connected to this forum. There is no better network of moral support than this one. I'm pullin for ya. PS: don't you think a month is a bit short for recovery from a car wreck?

Pffsst... Grand total to save a deer's life...$5,156.72. Ugh still got 2 micrphones to buy. And I am guessing another 3-6 weeks before I am my ol self again. Hope the deer is greatful. Actually wasn't worried about the deer was worried about hubby's truck. Tho I still think it would have been cheaper and waaay less painful if I would have hit the deer!

Lol in SC they won't let you keep the meat. But I did take out a gator when I hit the water. But don't care for gator meat.

I was taught in drivers ed to hit the deer or cow with a glancing blow to prevent it from going through the windshield but at the same time to keep the car on the road. Human life is rated higher.

So avoiding places with animals while your driving sounds like a good idea.......your screwed, stay inside.

Lol... I always thought the particular area of water was only about 3 feet deep... Woooh it was actually 10 feet plus. By the time a passerby got me out water was up to my nose. When they towed it out it was totally submerged this was a full one ton heavy duty work van. They say most accidents happen clode to home they are right I was only 5 minutes away.

Yes a passer by tied a rope around his waist to come get me I was knocked out when I came to water was up to my nose. My left leg was stuck he yanked me free Thank God! It took me about 2 weeks and a lot of searchin to find him and thank him.

U bet! Both sides of the van were ripped off like someone used a can opener on it no windshield. All the tool and rebar flew everywhere. Needless to say not pleasant!

Injuries are cuncusion stiches in left ear right shoulder and collar bone have hair line fractures. Right ribs broke both knees sever soft tissue contusions. Bruises everyplace. The pain was and is awful, but much better then a month ago! Today marks the 1 month.
