Horrible customer service. We just moved and they came out Sunday evening to install cable TV and internet, well the guy that came couldn't find where the cable comes from the ground or pole. This residence has had service before so it does exist. Well after 3 calls they rescheduled us to the 27th I laughed and said no I will go with direct TV. They promised someone would be here by 1 today, still no one. Looks like I will be calling direct TV.

If you value your internet at all, you will stick with comcast!

Oh god, Comcast. I have to deal with them in August for cable service and the thought is my biggest dread.

Comcast Must Die keeps a pretty good catalog of customer service complaints in the blog entries.

strike2tamu,
I live in the Bear Creek area and use Comcrap for internet only. It is fast but I record micro-outages almost everyday. The lights on the modem stop for about a minute and then it restarts. What part of Houston are you in (general area only)? I understand that micro-outages are fairly common here.

From your name I assume you may be an Aggie. What class?

Always less than expected.
And now unimproved for 2008.

29 visits to my house in one years time. I refuse to ever have comcast in my house again. They never did get my internet working correctly in four years. I booted them to the curb last year on the net and in march for TV

I've never had a problem like that in my 4 years of using comcast. Every year or so we have a picture problem with our TV, but we reset the modem, and its fine. We almost never have outages (except in really bad storms), and the guys that come here usually know exactly what they have to do, and always fix the problem (if I can't fix it, which I can 95% of the time, we call them).
