I doubt the number is that low. Its probably between 500k-1mil units. The thing is, Apple is new to the market, and doesnt follow the current manufacturers reporting methods. They DID sell 1 million iPhones. I do not believe they said they sold them to end users. I believe the release said they reached 1 million sales. Nothing but PR there.

I think they sold AT LEAST a million. I may be wrong though.
