Angry No uninstall for BlackBerry Desktop - 05-07-2009, 10:09 AM

There is no uninstall in the Start->Programs->BlackBerry folder.
The button in Add/Remove Programs for BlackBerry Desktop says "Change/Remove", but when I click it, it takes me through the install, with no uninstall option. It just re-installs the damned software that I want to get rid of. I'm glad I switched to an iPhone, because RIM has a habit of making me angry with their stupidity in areas like this.

When you click change/remove it should come up with a box that has modify, repair and at the bottom remove.
you have to make sure that is checked and it will uninstall.
if you go through it with the top option checked, it will just "install" it again

Wirelessly posted (BB 8130)

If that doesn't work, google "regclean.exe", download, install and remove the registry entries, then delete the program files.

So what does this category of poster expect to have accomplished? Seems a waste of his time as well as ours.

Different strokes.

EDIT: OK, I do understand the need to vent sometimes. Still don't understand this type of poster.
