I perosnally have never had an ssue with the Media Manager...all of my difficulties have stemmed from "user error" and learning how to use it correctly.

Just to provide some counterpoint...

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.

Too bad that doesn't work with video. If its not formated right, the BB won't play it.

Agree - Roxio is a huge sluggish pointless beast with absolutely no redeeming value or qualities.

Most computers I install DM w/ roxio, it crashes when trying to run media manager. Which is why I normally go with the w/o media manager option when installing.

My only complaint with Roxio is the UI is just too sluggish I mean why.. How bad does the code have to be to make it as sluggish as it is...

Never had it crash though.. Reliable just slow.

Ditto!! It's worked flawlessly for me when I've used it. I use it only to convert videos. Yes, it takes a few minutes, but that's no big deal.

I've never tried a video. my eyes would jump out of my head and curse me out for trying to watch anything over 30 seconds on a screen that size.

I've watched movies on my BB quite a few times by now.. It's convenient for the off times were you are really that bored and not near a TV.

Another reason for me to get the Tour

Roxio is the biggest piece of **** software I've ever come across in my 12 years using a computer.

It took me 7 installs for it to actually work and then it proceeded to crash my computer. When I rebooted my Explorer wasn't responding so my icons didn't load and all I could see was my wall paper... I had to reboot in safe mode and disable the damn Roxio auto-process that was running and delete that crap from my computer....

I just use Media Mass Storage mode from now on..

I could have sworn that one of the beta DM 5 i downloaded didnt have roxio in it, but used something else.
not that i can remember what its called, but im sure it sorta piggy back off of windows media player or something.
strange.

Same! it's such a hassle, secondly, it's sluggish as hell.

Please don't think that I will add you to my BBM. I won't. Especially if I get sleazy PM's.
