Default bbm 5.0 bunch off horse sh*& - 09-06-2009, 09:06 PM

hello everyone... i am so pissed with blackberry right now. i use to have bbm 5.0 on my 8330 curve. i uninstalled it by accident one day and have not be able to get it back. i have checked the desktop manager and the device. i have done a backup restore through the manager and nothing. i have searched until i am sick and tired of it. you can not even get the old software because i have do what i am supposed to do and upgraded my software on my phone. you can't go to blackberry.co because it will not let you install unless you are on the 4.1 or 4.2 software. well look get up with the times and release the 5.0 already or get off your high horse and let it be installed without deleting it from every site that leaks it. there is no reason that someone should have to search so hard to find a blackberry software... this is bull s*^!. i love my blackberry but this has to change. there will never be a stop to this madness until we all boycott this action by blackberry.

if anyone would like to help with this issue then please pm me and help me find a link that works......... i would hate to see one of the cooperate bastards at blackberry see the link and delete this post.

thank you for all who cares. please write if you are upset with the monopoly.

So you are upset that a beta software isn't readily available to you?
How about they stop pulling it down when it is released

I'm bored, so I thought I'd point out some bits that I thought were particularly interesting:

Yeah, you bastards at RIM! Stop cleaning up unauthorized releases of your software! How is a guy supposed to get a hold of this stuff ahead of the official release if you insist on cleaning up? Damn, yo! <- I threw that in there for emphasis.

Quote:

Um... it's not difficult to find BlackBerry software. Really. I promise.

Quote:
this is bull s*^!.
Hey... we agree on something! Who would have thought it possible? Of course, I am willing to bet that we don't agree on what "this" is referring to.

Quote:

Madness? Boycott? BlackBerry? By the way, you do realize that the company isn't called BlackBerry, right? Right? Or is your phone doing something that we should be boycotting?

Quote:

Yeah... cooperate bastards!

Quote:

Monopoly? But I love that game. Why would I be upset with it?

Oh, and something to consider: almost everything I wrote is sarcastic in nature, with the exception of "I'm bored." I really am bored. And tired.

Moved to Rants and Raves. ^^

To the OP, you do realize this forum does not belong to the company that makes BlackBerrys, right?

Btw, please upudate your profile. You say you have a Curve, but your profile shows otherwise.

Well, whatever they call it, as long as it makes that awesome (read: annoying) bing sound like in the commercials, that would be great! Yeah. Great.

Ok So Yall Want To Poke Fun... Well That Is Fine That Yall Know So Much About This Company. It Suprizes Me That We Have So Many Smart People In This Thread That No One Came Up With Any Help To Me Finding A Running Bbm 5.0. I Am So Sorry That I Said Blackberry Owned The Company. But I Was Using Them As A Whole. I Do Know That This Forum Does Not Belong To Blackberry. I Was Just Looking For A Little Direction And Got A Bunch Of People That Are Part Of The Problem And Not The Solution. Tell Me Why Would A Company Hold Onto A Product For So Long Before They Release It To The Public? I Have My Theories But I Would Hate To Put Them Out There For Some Of You Would Just Laugh And Poke Fun At.

Copster, yes, reading always makes one smarter.

Its nice we have our anti-yelling (all caps) filter set in the forums.

And your posts have yet to ask for help with anything. Those requests commonly include the word "please" and end in question mark.

Google is your friend... at least, I think it's your friend. Unless, of course, you've pissed it off. Then it's probably not your friend... or at least, it's still your friend but it's kind of mad at you for a while.

You are on a roll today. We're part of the problem? If we define "problem" as "unreleased software not being readily available to you because it is being removed from unauthorized sharing sites after people leaked it," then I find it really, really sad that you would misunderstand who the real problem is here.

Man oh man, this thread is priceless. It never ceases to amaze me how people never want to find out things on their own by browsiing forums, seaching google, and if all else fails, ask questions NICELY.

People now want instant gratification and if it doesn't work the first time, they just simply complain about it.

Does Typing The First Letter Of Each Word In Caps Grab Your Attention?

It's Very Difficult If You Ask Me, And I Think I Would Get Fed Up. (i actually am..)

see if it's a beta software, it shouldn't be released, and obviously the fact that it was pulled means that the software had a lot of glitches that needed to be worked on.

if you read any of the bbm 5.0 threads, you would see that a lot of people had problems! so let RIM perfect the bbm 5.0 and then we shall see!

it's just not cool to rave about a beta software. it makes me :(

Please don't think that I will add you to my BBM. I won't. Especially if I get sleazy PM's.

We have a "anit-yelling" filter here... which causes a certain amount of ALL CAPS typing to convert to initial letter capitalized for each word. So, when you see each initial letter capitalized, it's a sure sign it was intended to be ALL CAPS.
