Oh, yeah... Lazaridis or Balsillie will surely get this resolved for you.

Good luck. RIM will not help you, though. It's up to the carrier.

Trackball issues on the Curve 83xx have typically been found to be user issues with dirt and debris.

And as an aside, I'm not sure what "witch(es)" have to do with the BlackBerry trackball. ;) Can you elaborate? ;)

1. You can find the physical address for RIM in Waterloo, ON, at the RIM website, I recall seeing it the other day, while getting my Christmas card list in order

I also feel certain you won't get much satisfaction from RIM, directly.

There's really only three reasons Sprint wouldn't replace or help you out: Moisture damage, physical damge, or the CSR is a nutjob.

Meanwhile, for $15 you can replace the trackball yourself, although it would likely void the warranty.

So... can you explain why is not working about the trackball, and what/why Sprint said they would not replace the device?

I have a problem too with my phone. it's old. i want to email RIM to give me a new phone because vodafone flatly refuses. i want the email address too.

/end sarcasm.

i just replaced my trackball after a year! you must be really giving your phone some bad lovin'.

Please don't think that I will add you to my BBM. I won't. Especially if I get sleazy PM's.

It is very easy to remove the trackball and clean it - bet that is all the issue is.

You guys shouldn't give the OP such a hard time. I am in a similar boat. I have an unlocked iPhone on T-Mobile and the battery won't hold a charge and T-Mobile won't do anything to help me. Does any one have Steve Job's email handy?
