Default RIM CEO is Clueless!

Please Login to Remove!

RIM's very own Mike Laztarded showing why RIM is so far behind the others in the mobile market. If you thought his "supper apps" speech was bad, take a look at this. Saying that the iphone isn't popular is like saying snow isn't cold. Could he really be that clueless as to the state of the market? With this guy at the helm, RIM is truly doomed.

All hail the iCult and their leader, Chairman Jobs.

It does get old after a while, but that's OK, it makes you happy.

Enjoy the iKoolAid.

Delicious!

And if I had to chose who was the better CEO, who knows what the people want, Jobs would win hands down.

Well, at the annual meeting in Jonestown, you can all celebrate your good luck.

I guess people don't want Flash video, printing or convenient charging on their iPads. OH NO - DON'T EVEN DREAM OF OBJECTING. IT'S ALL GOOD.

Engadget did a blog on this too. This quote pretty much says it all and I kind of agree with it.

"Looking at the bigger picture, it might also be a sign that these guys(RIM) are still very much on the fast track to becoming the next Windows Mobile -- dinosaurs paralyzed by their own past successes -- but who knows? Maybe there'll always be limitless demand for an endless array of barely iterative hardware paired to a decade-old user interface."

Your posts would probably get more appreciative responses on the Apple Fanboy sites. Birds of a feather. But you believe it, and that's all that matters in the cult.

I actually think Android will end up being the king. Multiple carriers, multiple hardware platforms.

Each device has their followers and their detractors. Not much one can do or say to sway them either.

IMHO, however, I think RIM is amiss in trying t be all things to all people. They had the business and governments all but wrapped up at one point. Then they branched out into "consumerism" and the headaches and problems began. Should have stayed within their niche and continued to dominate.

Tough call... I'm up for an upgrade with VZW right now but not out of contract for a few months.

I still think the form factor of the droid is ugly. (although I do like the idea of Google)

but I have known for years and have experienced their reliability. So i'd rather not change something that works.

Hasn't Blackberry always been said to fall in the dust for the last few years? Maybe it will happen one day but not soon.

Show me the facts. If RIM led the smartphone market (yet again) the last two quarters, how is that you translate that in to "so far behind the others..."?

Don't the facts get in the way.

Funny how just about every tech blog feels the same way about Mike L. Even Crackberry mocked him. He and RIM are wrong on this one.

We shall see how long these numbers hold out with the onslaught of Android devices and when the iphone gets released on Verizon. It doesn't have to be this way if RIM would get past their own arrogance and look to the future.

Argon, now let's see: your
words "so far behind" and "yet to see" are quite different things.
You're nothing more than a troll here and one who doesn't keep up with the current state of affairs very well either. Maybe you and Mike have more in common than you think.

Shouldn't you be in line for the next release of something you already have and don't need?

BTW - Apple's share of the home computer market rose to 8% in Q1, 2010.
Congratulations. World domination is ALMOST there.

Argon,

Why are you even here? Seems you hate RIM, blackberries and everything about them. Just doesn't make sense.
