Default Vericom is a scam...

Please Login to Remove!

Like a lot of others, I got my 8700g through Vericom with the $100 rebate. It is actually (2) $50 rebates. On one you need the 4th bill from t-mobile and the 6th bill....

My 4th bill came after the deadline to submit for the 1st $50 rebate, I must have purchaced toward the end of the promotion. I called and they basically said I was basically SOL because I needed my 4th bill to qualify...

Now I won't have my 6th bill to submit for my other rebate in time...

What a ripoff...

that sucks. They sold you the device without checking whether you would be able to qualify in time or not. I would contact the better business bureau, etc, to put some pressure on them, or at least call them and speak with a manager. Maybe if you complain hiigh enough up the chain, they'll give you the rebate.

Whoa, that's awful! I would first call and tell them that if they don't issue the rebate, your next phone call will be to the Better Business Bureau. If they don't comply, ask to speak to someone who has more of a say (manager) and run the same line on them. If that still doesn't work, write an email to the BBB and CC whatever email address you can find for Vericom. And also copy your local newspaper and TV news stations....Sounds extreme, but trust me, when they see you've copied two media agents and the Better Business Bureau, they will probably be more willing to talk to you.
