At my church, they would make me preach if I showed up in a suit.

But for 18 years I wore one, or a coat/tie.

But I agree with both of you, it is the outward sign of your inward self.

I agree this is what I was trying to say in dumb hick ridden vocabulary.

We have people in our Church that look down on anyone not dressed in a suit and tie, and it irks me to no end.
