The Cingular BlackBerry Trade Up Program

Warning to users who are thinking about using this service thru Cingular (AT&T). It now has been 4 months and we didn't get the rebates or the memory cards we were promised. Every time I e-mail them I get a response like, oh it will be in the next check run. Well I have been in the next check run for two months now. We were told 6-8 weeks, and it is now over 16 weeks. The bad part is this really isn't thru Cingular and it is thru a company called Market Velocity.

Has anybody else done this and got their checks or chips? We were told we would get a $50.00 rebate and a micro SD chip for each trade in. We traded in 10 8700 units.

I waited until right up to the last minute, but I did mail the stuff in on time and got a message back saying that it had arrived too late. I take responsibility for mailing late, but I doubt that they arrived past the deadline. I think the program is worthless.
