The iPhone is the greatest toy ever!!!

So, I finally broke down and bought an iPhone. I've been unlocking them and selling them on ebay for about $100 profit each time. My plan was to sell enough so that I could pay for an 8GB for me and a 4GB for the wife.

It's easily the greatest toy I've ever owned. Internet is fantastic on wi-fi, decent with EDGE on both TMO and AT&T. UI is fantastic, Ipod is amazing, availability of third-party apps is great - I was playing supermario brothers and Mike Tyson punchout on the NES emulator while watching football all day yesterday.

But then I remembered that the most important thing in a mobile device is reliable email that doesn't suck your battery dry in 3 hours. The iPhone is a great toy, but it's just that.

Now -- if someone could develop bbconnect for the iPhone, I'd be a happy puppy.

i tried the iPhone for a week while my friend was in the hospital and I could not see what the hype was all about (besides the obvious). It's nice and all but I already own an ipod video, I own a reliable phone with a much better qwerty for texting...

Depends what kind of chicken salad your talking about. My wife's grandmother used to scrape chicken leftovers off the bone, add a ton of miracle whip, and put it on white bread. The iphone is better than this type of chicken salad.

On the other hand, on Saturday night, breaking the fast from Yom Kippur, I had some all white meat chicken salad, made with a little mayo, grapes, and almond slivers, on toasted rye with a slice of american cheese (I know, it's not kosher).

This sandwich was way better than the iPhone.
