Default Black Berry Browser Esc - 10-16-2007, 11:29 AM

Hey all, I have couple page of browser app (aspx) When the form page submitted on black berry browser I take them to the confirmation page which is fine. Though form got submitted and ID has been processed. If they click on esc (square button on divice) it show the previous page with form info
though it has been submmited. How can i disable or showing differet page on clicking on esc or back button on divice

Switching to an alternative browser such as Opera Mini 4 (which works better than BlackBerry Browser for most things) seems to solve this I think, if you're concerned about somebody picking up your BlackBerry and seeing your form data...

I think it depends on the version of the BlackBerry Browser.

If you're trying to solve a back-end problem, do some duplicate-submission detection. Use a unique ID and if the form is submitted again with the same ID, just say "Form has already been submitted." or simply redisplay the same result page from the earlier submission (which is useful if somebody accidentally doubleclicks the submit button). Intelligent back-end handling is The Way to go...
