I'm running BlackBerry Desktop Manager Version 4.2.1.6 (it came on the CD in the box with the 8820).

Using the Synchronize function of the Desktop Manager, sometimes I see screens that are not in English
(initial screen says Intellisync Kullanici Kuruluyor).

How can I change this so all screens are English?

btw - I already tried this:

1. I uninstalled (keeping my settings, not sure why, but I did), reinstalled from CD - same results.
2. I uninstalled (deleting my settings, via the uninstall prompt), reinstalled from CD - same results.
3. I uninstalled cleanly (as per this post), reinstalled from CD - same results.

Any other ideas?

I have tried everythihng I know, and I still cannot change the language setting.

It's rather annoying, but I guess this is one way to learn another language!

Please let me know if you ever figure it out.

What version Desktop Manager are you running?

Why not try the latst Desktop Manager?

I loaded

Software Download for BlackBerry Support:
BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.2 SP2 (English) - Dated 18May2007 and is 231 MB
which downloads Desktop Software v4.2 SP2 (English).exe

on top of my existing Desktop Manager, and all is English now!
