I'm also facing the same problems. Isn't RIMs going to do anything about this?

I have a BB 7250 on the Verizon network. I have used IM+ and Berryvine Messenger but found them to have unstable connections. I was excited to hear that you can now add MSN IM users to your Yahoo Contact list. It works well at home when I use Yahoo Messenger on my PC. When I tried to use Yahoo Messenger on my Blackberry to IM my MSN contacts, it didn't work.

I also tried the Verizon MSN Mobile software but you have to pay 15 cents PER message. Crazy. I wish Microsoft and Blackberry could get it together to make MSN messaging (Windows Live) work on the Blackberry.

I can IM MSN users from the BB Yahoo Messenger, but they can't IM me. I show up as online to them, but they don't show up as online to me. Has anyone had any success using Yahoo Messenger on your Blackberry to IM MSN contacts?

I had success with it for about 2 minutes when it first was released. Since then it hasn't worked and has acted exactly like you said in your post.
