Wink T-mobile Upgrade on Cingular

Hi everyone,

I am very exciting. I bought brand new 7290 from Cingular hoping that it is unlocked. Today I received the unit and fortunately it is UNLOCKED. I put in my t-mobile sim and everythhing works very fine.
I have a question. The 7290 comes withh OS 3.8
If I upgrade by using T-mobile 4.0, is there any problem or the phone will lock back?. Please help me with this and I am very exciting to upgrade.
