Default Redirecting Sent Items

Please Login to Remove!

Got my first Blackberry yesterday and am having a problem. Sent messages aren't sent to the sent items folder but instead show up in my inbox with a check mark. Any way to change this? Thanks.

Go into Messages. Click trackwheel and click on Options. Click on Email Settings. Click trackwheel and click Folder Redirection. Uncheck Sent Items.

OK, now it's sending messages to the sent folder, but when I click on the "messages" icon, it opens a screen that has both my inbox and sent items folder combined. Is there anyway to just make it open the inbox so I don't have the long list of sent items? Thanks.

That is by design it is a "Message List" not an "In Box"

not with a single click, but you can either go into Messages then click alt +I [ & I] to view only incoming messages
Or you can set up a search rule and assign it to a shortcut key to show all you sent items and delete them in one hit.
(see: Any way to only view incoming messages? )
