When trying to open a word document with the basic password protection, a message appears when trying to view the Full Content. "Password not supported for this format."

Does anyone know of a way to open word docs with password protection on the blackberry?

Tried on 7100T, 7230, 7290. (4.0)
TMobile - Unlimited Data
Running BES 4.0

After a little more research, I discovered that "password protected documents can only be read if they are in Adobe® PDF file format"

Hope this helps anyone else who may be having the same problem.
