That is the verison that Verizon is shipping on the CD with their Pearl 8130.

I had DM 4.2sp1 installed on my XP SP2 box and used it with my T-Mo Pearl and a few other device... Un-installed it months ago...

Installed this DM 4.3 when I got the Verizon Pearl... Install went ok.. it found my T-Mobile Curve and installed all drivers just fine, DM 4.3 sees it, asks for the Device's password, and goes...

BUT driver install of the Verizon Pearl would not complete with the new RIM Device Drivers... USB Mass Storage device feature's driver didn't install properly for the VZW Pearl (got error code 10)... Had to pull out the older RIM drivers..

While DM 4.3 works fine... Roxio Media Manager is Extremely SLOW starting up... it appears HUNG with a white screen, doesn't fill in, etc... then finally comes up... (Thinkpad T60 CoreSolo 1.66ghz, 2gig ram)

Here is the link

DOWNLOAD MANAGER 4.3

It took me almost 2 hours to download from the main server...and only took me 20 minutes from mine. Hope everyone enjoys!

installed on my xp pro laptop w/o any problems
on my vista bus desktop i got 2 could not register dll errors, but it seems to work ok.

Pretty weird, but my install did NOT include any Roxio Media app. I don't know why not, there was no option to not install it, I just noticed last night that it was not there as an icon in the DM.

Weird. I don't really care, though, because up til now I preferred using Mass Storage mode and just dragging stuff over. NOW I want to see it!

Is it correct that this is released software and not beta? Now that you've been using it, would you recommend that others download and install?

Yes, it's released software. You can read through the thread here and see what issues have come up already. I'm using it. I've had a few issues with it. I haven't uninstalled it, though. It doesn't do anything special above what the older version does.

One other new feature in this DM release is that it now will work with Lotus Notes 8 for a local synch.

Exclamation Not the "final" build of DM 4.3 - 11-05-2007, 09:52 AM

I hope everyone realizes that this is NOT the "production" DM 4.3. It's a build that was released about a month ago. I confirmed this by asking one of my admins who has access to the DM 4.3 builds from RIM.

So, be careful out there folks!

A-ha!! I knew it!! Sinister, evil beta version. Well, not technically a beta, per se, but a pre-release version.

i finally got it fully downloaded from the vodafone site. not a bad visual upgrade other than that the differences are trivial at least for me. does anyone know if there is a way to allow multiple blackberries to wirelessly sync via bluetooth and backup. so far i can get one connected at a time (which isnt a problem) but DM only will backup 1 per day automatically.

Default Supports Notes 8! - 11-05-2007, 05:51 PM

For those of you looking for a DM support for Notes 8, I downloaded this over the weekend and now I can do a synch with Notes 8 and DM. Seems v4.3 is required to do this.

I am using a BB 8830 on the Bell Canada network.

Pretty snazzy. I'd say it's just about time, too, that this be made available ... I've had tons of calls from users unable to synchronize with Lotus Notes 8 via DTM, and the best I've ever been able to tell 'em is to wait for a version update.

I see above it says it wil sync with Windows Vista. Are they referring to the Windows Calendar and Windows Address Book basic programs that come with Vista?

Long story short, I want to locally sync my Calendar to Windows Vista Calendar but it doesn't give me that option.... just Yahoo! and Ascii

Ok, it never installed the media manager for me, and now it won't disappear from the taskbar (the old one had an option to shrink it to just an icon).

jubrand, it did not install Media Manager for me, either on my laptop, and I yet to try to figure out why (too busy). In the taskbar, can you right click to close it?

I can right click to close it, but that completely closes it and I have to start it back up to use it to sync. Not a big deal, just annoying. I'm more frustrated by the lack of a media manager right now.

Hey, you do know that you can enable Mass Storage on the card (Options > Advanced > Media Card) and drag and drop files as if the SD card were just another drive on your PC? Unless you "like" the Roxio Media Manager, it does not serve a great purpose.

2. uninstall 4.2 and install 4.3

thanks,
