I am dissappointed in this release, there has been so much HOOHAAA over it...All it is, is a fancy skin. Nothing else has been changed.

Not even that fancy; once you get past the front-end it seems identical. I'm sure there are some internal changes to support the upcoming 4.3 OS, but it's baffling that RIM doesn't seem to realize that most users would like to see new features or UI tweaks.

Improved Media Manager and support for Lotus Notes 8 are both new features.

Just when everyday seemed to greet me with a smile, sunspots have faded, and now I'm doing time.

Default 4.3 WITHOUT Media Manager - 11-19-2007, 02:27 PM

4.2.2 was available for download without Media Manager. This option does not seem to be available in the 4.3 download section.

If I download the FULL 4.3, will it give me the option to NOT install Media Manager or is there a separate download available somewhere that I haven't come across?

Thanks,

EnR

Yes you can. It is the desktop manager software. I had it and went back to 4.2 because 4.3 had bugs.
