Question T-Mobile Web Client eMail Deletion - Question????

Does anyone know what's with the email reconciliation on TMO's BWC?

I've got a 7290 on T-Mobile using BWC.
I have the BWC poll my POP server and retrieve my emails.
Works fine - now here's the problem...

I get a lot of spam - so when it's forwarded to my BB I delete it.
Only trouble is it stays in my BWC Inbox. Thus filling it up and stopping me from receiving more emails until I log into BWC and delete them.

I've set the deletion reconciliation option ON but still no effect.

I tried selecting the 'Reconcile now...' option but the emails are still there.
I've set the auto-aging rule for 2 days but I don't want my Inbox full.

Anyone have any ideas?

We're in the same boat. What I do to eliminate the spam is I do not use my @tmo.blackberry.net e-mail address for sending out mails. I use my @earthlink.net account instead. From there, I've set my spam filter to HIGH and I just review the spam filter to check for valid messages every now and then.

As far as e-mail reconciliation, I have no idea why is this happening. It's no biggie for me though.

OK this should solve the problem . . .


First, you have to set your option in the web client to delete the web client's mail when the handheld's is deleted. Once this setting is put in place, you have to delete the emails individually. Selecting delete prior (and deleting them all) will only delete the email on your handheld and leave it on the web client. Let me know if this helps.
