I have a couple of users that are receiving the message asking for the Blackberry 7750.msi file so it can install the software. I have install the latest BB desktop software onto the users computers. I do not have any install that has the Blackberry7750.msi. Has anyone seen this? Anyone know how to fix this?

Is the device, Desktop Manager asking for this? Or is this coming in the form of an email?

Default error

It is asking to install the software, on the desktop, whenever the desktop manager is opened. I havent been able to find a CD with that MSI is it looking for. Reinstalling the latest version of desktop Manager doesnt work. If I try to uninstall the desktop manager the same Install dialog box comes up.

I figured it out. Takes 4 steps:

1. Backup
2. Format
3. Reinstall OS
4. Reinstall BB desktop

This fixed the problem! :p

I think a clean uninstall of the Desktop Software might have worked too :D

I have tried a clean install 5-6 times, following all the instructions, with no success. My blackberry software was damaged when attaching to an active directory.
