You said unlock, is that mean SIM unlocked so you can use it on any GSM carrier?

You said you trying to "install all of the software", do you mean handheld operating system?

Most likely you have to do the following step.

Wipe you blackberry handheld 7290

How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ

Install desktop manager and handheld operating system to you desktop computer.

How do I upgrade the OS on my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

Connect you 7290 to the desktop and you should be able to get a clean install OS to the BB.

you don't have to check anything else again. because i'm sure that your mobile got hard error. the flash and CPU chip have not been fixed with the mainboard of your mobile. you should go to get it repaired. don't try to do with the OS software, it's not useful.
good luck

Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file called vendor.xml

This is an amazing first post.... not sure where you were going with it but I am sure the intent was good!

Anyway, welcome to the forum and you may wish to sit back and read some posts before advising others as you don't want them going down a path they will most likely regret.
