Angry Intellisync... - 11-28-2007, 05:15 AM

I am trying to sync my 8120 using 4.2.2.12. But I am getting an error message - Intellisync "Unknown error reported".

Has anyone seen this before / know a solution? It is driving me crazy.

Thanks for the link.

I worked throught he suggested actiions and yet it still doesn't work.

I am now at my wits end. I have upgraded to a new blackberry which I like, but in the process lost all syncronisation. I am am in a worse place than I was a week ago... Very disapointed

I had this. Rummaging through the RIM site I saw a ref to deleting some Intellisync database files of the PC, and that fixed it. Sadly I can't find it now, so you'll have to rumage yourself. Meanwhile I reset the DM sync to try and start from scratch...

After it's done (deleting these files), I would one-way/overwrite sync the data assuming you've a complete set on one side or the other. That way you won't risk duplicates.

Sorry I can't help any more - but it WAS fixable in my case, for sure...

Yes. I do. On Vista Ultimate and Ultimate 64. Both the last fully patched 4.2 and now 4.3. And I'm using Outlook 2007.
