Hi All,

I am getting an
inconsistent and random error in opening the http connection (1 in 40-50
requests). I get a connection timeout error when I handle it. We
are very confident that request is not reaching the server (we have
verified the server logs). and once it comes http request stops working. Even we are unable to open any site in browser. Exiting the application and restarting does not work. we implemented a sleep of 100 millisecond after closing the connection, even this does not work.

Then i tired to toggle the radio (first off and then on), now it was working.


Can anybody tell me how should I handle this condition? we are observing this condition on almost all device of blackberry(Blackberry 8100 & blackbery 8830 sprint).
I tried to toggle the radio programatically by using the following API.
net.rim.device.api.system.Radio
net.rim.device.api.system.RadioInfo

But while toggling the network it shows a pop-up screen with message "this application is going to change the property of the device would you like to allow?". Although it is signed build.
is there any solution to remove this??
