Default multiple addresses in message (email)

I am trying to find out how do I select multiple addresses when I send out an email (messages)

Currently I have to select one address at a time, and then select "Add To" and then select next address and so on.

Is there a way to select multiple addresses? I have searched in many places with no luck.

I believe that the "Add To" is the only way to have multiple addresses. There is no way to select more than one at a time from the Address Book.
