Default Custom word list problem

Please Login to Remove!

So, I did an advanced backup on a 7100x. I was pretty sure that the Enterprise Activation would bring back the custom word list but it did not. I did however back it up. Now, when I do an advanced restore and highlight the custom word list, it does not give me the option to send it over to the device. Anyone know why? There are some things that it will let you send over to the device (the arrow goes from greyed out to black) but not for other things.

You are not alone: Restore Difficulties

It is based on what is wirelessly backed up / sync'ed. I personally do not know how to resolve.

It was bugging me as this has happened to me before. I called it in so I would know for the next one I had...

Connect to machine.
On berry, delete the desktop(SYNC) service book
On Desktop, Go to advanced restore.
Do your thing
Disconnect and reconnect to get service book back.

Solution:

go in to enterprise activation

hold alt + c-n-f-g to pop up new menu
turn wireless sync to no
go back to desktop manager and you should have the option to restore whatever you want over the wire now.

OK, now that you have given us that...and you publicly admit working for RIM, we want you to produce a full list of hidden menus on all devices by tomorrow

I want to be able to go into site survey mode on my 7270. Got one for that?
