Hi,
I swapped my old mobile and classic blacberry today for vodafone 7100v and cannot get my emails.

I installed BB Desktop Manager v4 SP1 on an MS XP machine. (Having first zapped earlier sw). Connect via USB and device is detected and connected. Prompts me to generate a new key , so do the mouse wriggle, status bar shows new pin.However I cannot select Intellisync, or redirector settings until I disconnect. When I load desktop redirector (whilst disconnected) the old pin number is there from my old device.
I connecting to my Exchange Server thro Outlook 2003.
It's driving me crazy. Any idea of whats happening please.

Goto C:\Documents and Settings\[WinUserName]\Application Data and delete the Research in Motion and/or Pumatech Shared Folder(s) that are located in that directory.You will have to goto [HERE] and download Desktop Manager v4.0 SP1 and do a complete un-install of Desktop Manager;

Complete un-install instructions:
1) Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Removed Desktop Manager

2) Goto C:\Program Files, delete Research In Motion Folder

3) Goto C:\Program Files\Common Files, delete Research In Motion and/or Pumatech Shared Folder

4) Goto C:\Documents and Settings\[UserName]\Application Data and delete Research In Motion folder

5) Start -> Run -> regedit (click OK) -> HKEY_Current_User - > Software and deleted Research In Motion and/or Pumatech Shared Folder

6) Start -> Run -> regedit (click OK) -> HKEY_Local_Machine - > Software and deleted Research In Motion and/or Pumatech Shared Folder

7) Install Desktop Manager v4.0 SP1

shouldn't have anymore issues, if you do contact your service provider or Research In Motion directly.

Thanks for advice, I have already done this, and just repeated again. The problem is still there. Does anyone know if any Server side actions have to be performed to let it know I have a new sim?

Desktop Manager doesn't communicate with the device by the SIM cards ICCID number so that won't be a factor in this situation, unfortunately if those steps don't work you'll need to contact RIM directly for technical assistance by phone.
