Default Desktop software for all users on XP SP2

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I installed the desktop manager software and stupidly allowed all users to have the desktop mgr s/w also during initial loading of the s/w - instead of restricting it to my logon. Is there a quick way of stopping the s/w running for all users on my machine at startup or do I just reinstall again?

Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forums!

You could use group policy to restrict access to it ... you could also remotely access the registry / file system of the remote machines and modify the keys that start the DM automatically. I'm not sure if the automatic launching is a part of C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Startup or if it is in the registry in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
