Default Device Error 318

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone have a clue what "Device Error 318" means? Or more importantly, how can I fix it? Would appreciate some help as I am a relatively new Blackberry user (7280 on Cingular). Thank you.

Sounds like something in the OS range of errors. Likely you will need to reload the handheld software.

Use the advanced options in app loader to not do a backup/restore and erase currently installed apps.

Some of those options maybe greyed out.

Default Additional Info

As the other poster said you will have to run the application loader to re-install your handheld software on the device. I did review w/ RIM Techinal Knowledge Base and that exact JVM error is not listed for the reason so I can't provide the reason for the error.
