I had a blackberry on my PC and synched my calendar no problem. Then, was doing work on a friends HP (installed software for synch of wireless device). Now when I try to synch my BB I get a "Handheld Not Found" error. Tried my BB on another system with no other WAP software and it worked fine. Tried BB on another system with different wireless software on it and it choked.

I deleted both the HP software, and the BB software to start fresh, but the BB software is still choking. Seems like it's storing information somewhere that the deletion of the software isn't clearing out. Does anyone know how to fix this? (please email me )

maybe a bad usb port or cable.

Checked the USB..it's ok.

Disable Power Management for the USB Root Hubs if you are running Windows XP.

Make sure the USB is connected directly to the computer, no hubs or replicators.

Clean uninstall the desktop software if necessary. You can find the steps in the Public Knowledge Centre on BlackBerry.com
