I am currently running Applications: 4.2.2.89, Software Platform: 2.4.0.42 on my Curve 8300.

While browsing on the BlackBerry site I noticed that under the Rogers banner they had an updated software version:

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2.259 (Multilanguage)
Package Version: 4.2.2.259
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.2.2.141
Software Platform: 2.4.0.62
File name: 8300M_PBr4.2.2_rel259_PL2.4.0.62_A4.2.2.141_Rogers _Wireless.exe
File size: 78.07MB

This version has not yet appeared on the Rogers Tech support page.
Has anyone downloaded it and used it? What are the enhancements? Does anyone know when Rogers intends to release it?

If you look at the top of the 8300 section here, you will see a Sticky Note on the latest version of the OS for the 8300.

Those threads will tell you something about the enhancements of that version, which you can easily use, just follow the instructions as written.
