I have downloaded all of the new BB software for the 7100t. I am trying to configure Intellisync to synchronize with my desktop PIM application. When I attempt to "choose my translator" and I click on MS Outlook, the OK button goes gray and does not allow me to click on it. Hence, I cannot sync my BB with MS Outlook. I have Outlook 2003 and my collegues have no problems performing a sync. Please advise.

I had a similar problem....intellisnc would just close when I selected OUtlook. I had to copy down all the info in my current Outlook profile, delete that profile, then recreate it. Make sure to save, and also back up, your .pst files.

Works like a charm, now.

If you use Business Contact Manager, you may want to concider uninstalling that. It can cause problems with intellisync as well.

why doyou want to do a pim synch? using 4.0 you are wireless. why even use the desktop manager? why create trouble where there doesn'tneed to be trouble?

I would guess he's not on a BES so he can't wirelessly sync. Unless there's a way to sync without a BES??

Anyone care to respond? Is there a way to sync wirelessly withour BES? I am so tired of work -arounds to try and sync my Outlook Calendar using Desktop Manager that I would embrace almost any alternative that worked consistently. Suggestions?

You can get on a hosted BES or there are applications out there supposidly that can sync your information wireless, do a google search for that though..

No wireless sync without BES. Easy enough.

Any suggestions for ACT users? I had to reformat my computer and reset everything up. After that I can't select ACT database. It gray's out the "OK" and obviously won't let me browse for the file like it did when I set up before the reformat.

Did you reload your ACT database from a backup after reformatting your computer?

I just copied my ACT database to a CD, reformatted, reloaded ACT and then just copied my ACT directory back (overwriting the out-of-box directory.

When I had to reformat my hard drive, I reloaded the ACT software from the original CD and then used a backup and the restore function to get my database back. I'm wondering whether you might have messed up something in the system when you overwrote the out-of-box directory. You might want to reload the ACT software over the current file to see if it might put back what's missing.

In ore firm we using Blackberry 7730 whit Bes and desktop manager version 3.6.0.63.

Sometimes it hapens, that in the deskotp manager under changes in configure pim could not be saved. because the ok button in intellisync --> configure pim is aktive, but does not react (and then the window will not be closed).

does somebody have an idee to fix this?
