It's not polite to type in all caps.

Default BIS not BES

Thank you for your reply. I am not using BES. This 8300 did before. Then I received it and reloaded all the software and wiped the IT policy. I do not have BES.

Thanks for your help.

Did the option disappear after you installed the new OS or after you removed the IT policy?

Have your tried resending your service books after the wipe? It sounds like BIS is delivering the message but the BB Doesn't understand what account it was received using and cannot associate the reply.

I would resend service books and try a battery pull.

I think that is it. Received from says 'unknown'. How do you resend service books?

Question

I am having the problem of not getting the "send" option on replies. I would resend the service books and the IT policy, and it would fix the issue. Then a day or two later, the problem would be back. Is there a more permanent fix for this?

If you are on a BES. Try the link in post #4 of this thread. That worked for me.

Welcome to the forums and good luck.

I did try that. I actually wiped the device and removed from the BES, but I am still having the problem. initially it would last about 2 weeks before I would have to resend the books or policy. Now it is almost daily. I have 2 other phones on the BES, but do not have any issues with them. This user also has a non-BES email account on the phone. Could that be causing a problems? It was working fine when the carrier was Cingular, but he is with Verizon and having these problems.
