Has anyone managed to get the RIM AIM and MSN apps running on AT&T? I currently have both Yahoo messenger and Google Talk working.

I know there are other third party apps available (beejive, im+, etc) but I'm wondering if anyone has had specifically any luck with the official RIM apps.

Thanks!

I havent heard of anyone running them...I think I posted a question like that some time ago and got no responses so that pretty much tells me that it is a dead horse. But maybe someone is keeping the info secret.

good luck

be very careful. OZ uses text messaging. unless you have an unlimited messaging plan you can get hit hard with charges

i would recommend BeeJive :: JiveTalk mobile messenger - instant messaging to go the application is called Jive talk. its not free (after 30 days you have to pay a one time fee) but it is a great application.

im not sure about the software on media mall but you need to becareful because software like beejive uses the blackberry data connection and the IM's do not come in as text message thats where some other IM software must come in as textmessage and if you dont have a text message plan your are so screwed. i live on BEEJIVE . its the best program out there
