I have a question how BB works with Outlook contacts synchronizing.

I have a user which has several contacts folder. He also likes to synchronize a public contact folders to have always up to date contacts on his BB.

What happens when he synchronize BB ask to add contacts from his BB to Outlook. Those contacts are all from the public folder which he doesn't have in his personal mailbox contacts.

I discovered there is a setting in the PIM "import", "export" and "synchronize". Can this setting be different for every contact folder or is it global for all contacts folder choosen?

I'm talking about version 3.6

Maybe important to mention this started to happen when he upgraded from Office XP to Office 2003.

Any hints is highly appreciated.

Unfortunately the 'import', 'export' and 'syncronize' options are global, they apply to the current task (ie: Calendar, Contacts, etc...)
