Default BES 4.1 - BB Handheld cannot register wirelessly nor send/receive emails - 02-26-2008, 03:45 PM

Hello,

Abut 2 weeks ago, during the RIM/BB outage, my BB Handheld stopped receiving emails and was unable to send. I thought it was due to the outage, and did the reboot of the server and the handheld, still nothing worked.

Eventually I could not figure out the problem. So i decommisioned the server, the besadmin account, wiped it clean.

Created a brand new server, went step by step, and am still unable to Enterprise Activate over the air. I eventually installed the Desktop software and allowed it to Enterprise Activate. I got my contacts, tasks, calendar, not one email appeared.

When I try to send an email I get:

Message status: Service Blocked

I am really lost as to why my whole BES infrastructure went bad and what else to try to fix this issue? I have gone over the install docs 5 times at least and have delpoyed BES about 8 times in the last 5 years. I am no expert, but no one else has this issue except my server at home.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Problem Solved: Verizon had accidentally shut off my Data Service. Joy!
