Default HELP - Do I need to DL additional SW to synch up?? - 02-26-2008, 06:28 PM

Hello. I just purchased a Pearl 8100. I installed the BB software that it came with onto my computer. I tried to synch it up, and it said somehting about not having the applications set up. It also sid somethng about downloading additional software.

HELP! My instruction book says nothing about htis beyond installing the software. I really just want to be able to view and edit my calender and contacts on my computer so that (1) they'll be saved in case something happens to the BB and (2) so that I can add info into the computer instead of typing it all into the handheld.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help is greatly appreicitated!

Thanks!
